For me I can truly say “No way in hell” because people rarely change. I will concede that there are some cases where a reconciliation does work, but it is very rare.

According to counselling service Relate, one in four divorcees regrets their split. But would you remarry your ex spouse? For some, the very idea will seem impossible – but for others it is a secret longing they can hardly admit even to themselves.

Remember, there was a divorce for a reason and unless something really major happened to cause the other person to have a change of heart or life view, they are still the same person. They can pretend to have change, but I promise it will be short-lived and the same old person will come back. Maybe I am just cold hearted, but that’s the way I see. When it’s over, it’s over.
