Regon Artists are mainly concentrated in Wutun village, and more than 90% men in the village are craftsmen.
Regon arts have a very long history with unique craftsmanship, and the arts products are rich in national tastes and local styles, with very high values. Its sculptures mainly include mud sculpture, wood sculpture, brick sculpture, stone sculpture, buttered flowers, etc., among which mud sculpture declares a very important position and some temples and monasteries have always mainly adopted mud Buddha or Tibetan Buddha as its body.
The shape of early sculptures is complete and vivid with living appearances and smooth wrinkles of cloth in rich fell. Late sculptures tend to focus on decoration, while many advantages of early works are well kept.
